Mowqit — Privacy Policy
Effective 21 July 2026
Who we are
Mowqit is a countdown timer app for Android, developed and published by Md Aaquib Jawed ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app handles and where it lives.
Data we collect
We collect no personal data, no usage data, and no device data. Mowqit has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no crash-reporting services and no third-party SDKs that transmit data.
The Android build of Mowqit does not declare the INTERNET
permission, which means the operating system itself prevents the app from
making any network connection.
Data stored on your device
Everything Mowqit needs to work is stored locally, on your device only:
- The timers you create (names, durations, sounds, notes, checklists)
- Your folders, favourites and usage history shown in the app
- App preferences such as onboarding status
This data never leaves your device. It is removed when you delete it in the app or uninstall Mowqit.
Permissions the app uses
- Notifications — to show the countdown and alert you when a timer finishes.
- Exact alarms — so timers fire at the exact moment they end, even while the device sleeps.
- Vibration — to buzz when a timer completes, if you enable it.
None of these permissions gives the app access to your personal information.
Children
Mowqit does not collect data from anyone, including children. There is no content in the app that is unsuitable for any age group.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of Mowqit ever changes how data is handled, we will update this page and the "Effective" date above before that version is released.
